PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a persistent inflammatory disease of the upper airway with high heterogeneity. Various immunological profiles of CRS are characterized by type 2 or non-type 2 responses, and previous studies have shown differences in immune profiles depending on ethnicity (Western and Asian). Due to this pathophysiological variation, the treatment for CRS from Asian and Western countries also varies. This panel aims to empower participants to learn and distinguish the attributes of different immunophenotypes of CRS. Knowing these immunological features may assist clinicians in making better-individualized treatment decisions for CRS patients.

Here are the titles to be discussed during the panel:
1) Ethnic Variations in Sinonasal Anatomy and Physiology
2) Medical treatment options for difficult-to-treat CRS: Real-World Strategies
3) Surgical management strategy for recalcitrant CRS across ethnicities, including reboot sinus surgery.
