PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: "Effective Strategies for Academic Publishing in Otolaryngology" addresses a critical need for otolaryngologists to disseminate their research findings effectively. Academic publishing is pivotal in advancing clinical practices and patient care by sharing innovative treatments and breakthroughs. However, many clinicians need help navigating the complexities of manuscript preparation and publication processes. By providing practical guidelines and techniques for successful publishing, this course aims to bridge this gap, enhancing the quality and impact of research contributions from the otolaryngology community. This course is especially geared towards "junior" faculty starting out on their academic journal.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize the key elements and strategies for effective academic publishing in otolaryngology.
  2. Formulate a clear and compelling narrative for research manuscripts.
