Dr. Karen Parker Davidson, RN, is a global expert in the fields of nasal function, data interpretation, AI methods, and medical devices used to capture data. In this field, she has numerous copyrights and pending patents.
For more than three decades, she has held several positions in the medical device industry, various clinical nursing positions, as well as time in the US Air Force Reserves as a flight nurse and critical care nurse. She serves as the Vice President at GM Instruments, Ltd., the founder of FACT Healthcare Consulting Group, LLC, the co-founder of Reliant Biomedical Technologies, and an adjunct professor at Liberty University and Central Michigan University. She is a board member at The Healthcare Navigation Project 501(c)(3), an editorial board member for Dental Sleep Practice Magazine, an advisory board member of the Children's Airway First Foundation 501(c)(3), currently serves on the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Review Committee, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Various medical journals, magazines, four books, and chapters of several academic textbooks have featured her research on health policy, nasal function, and breathing disorders. She is the author of "Breathe Through Your Nose, Don’t Pay Through It: The Impact the Healthcare Industry Has on Nasal Function and How We Breathe."
As a proud Tarheel alumn from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing, she attended the University of North Dakota College of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program, holds three master's degrees from Central Michigan University and the University of Phoenix, a doctorate in Health Administration with a focus on health policy from Central Michigan University, and is currently pursuing a second doctorate (PhD) in Business Administration.
Dr. Davidson calls the Annapolis, Maryland, area home, where she resides with her son, Zach, and two dogs.
