Amy S. Whigham, MD, MS-HPEd is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center and holds a Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MS-HPEd) from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She serves at the Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Director, Vice Chair for Education, and Director of Resident Curriculum. She has a special interest in simulation and educational program development. Her clinical expertise lies in the surgical management of pediatric refractory obstructive sleep apnea. Her research focuses on refractory obstructive sleep apnea, medical education, and non-opioid pain management after pediatric adenotonsillectomy.
