Alan Wang is a fourth-year medical student at Rosalind Franklin University in Illinois. He graduated with a BA in Biology with a focus in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis. Alan's professional interests include bridging healthcare disparities, with his most recent research involving the geographic barriers that Native American populations face when seeking otolaryngologic care. He is also actively involved in the climate health space, having helped implement the Planetary Health Report Card at his instutition, co-founding the Illinois Clinicians for Climate Action Student Section, and contributing to the creation of climate risk tools used to minimize heat risk to local populations.
