Medical Student
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
Alicia Yang is a third-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She entered the medical field with aspirations to help people readapt and reconstruct their lives in the face of illness. Her research interests over the past two years have been within ENT, endocrinology, and global health including the impact of environmental exposures on head and neck disease epidemiology. This is her first time attending an AAO-HNSF annual meeting. She is beyond excited to share her work on chronic rhinosinusitis and systemic autoimmune diseases among a cohort of patients with World Trade Center occupational exposure and engage with experts in their respective fields. She loves storytelling and hopes to hear yours!
