William Ryan is a professor of head and neck surgical oncology at UCSF. He has special expertise in surgeon performed ultrasound and the management of chronic sialadenitis. He also a special expertise in sialendoscopy and management of salivary tumors. He and his partner Jolie Chang run courses on the use of ultrasound for salivary diseases.
