Dr Adrian James DM FRCS(ORL-HNS) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Toronto. He is a full time pediatric otolaryngologist at the Hospital for Sick Children with a specialist practice in pediatric otology. His principle interest is in the management of cholesteatoma. He has published widely on this topic and is frequently invited to speak on the factors that influence outcome in cholesteatoma including endoscopic ear surgery. His interests also include cochlear implantation and endoscopic skull base surgery in children.
He is a member of ASPO and AOS and is a Mosher Award recipient of the Triological Society. He is commited to evidence based practice and is on the editorial board of the ENT Disorders group of the Cochrane Collaboration.
