Dr. Evan Propst is a Paediatric Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeon at The Hospital for Sick Children, and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Propst maintains a broad-based clinical practice with a special focus on complex airway problems, revision laryngotracheal reconstruction, congenital malformations, surgical oncology and complex sleep disordered breathing. He is Co-Director of the Disorders Relating to the Airway and Mouth in Sleep (DREAMS) clinic. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed journal articles, 6 books (including the Airway Reconstruction Surgical Dissection Manual, Plural Publishing), and 24 book chapters. He organizes the annual Toronto International Endoscopic and Open Airway Surgery Workshops, and produces realistic synthetic neck and airway models for teaching tracheostomy and airway procedures (www.AweSimMedical.com).
