Prof Paolo Battaglia completed his under-graduate and medical education at the University of Insubria in Varese (Italy). He then concluded his residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery of Varese. From 2009 to 2011 he refined his skills in sinonasal and skull base endoscopic surgery under the guide of Prof. Paolo Castelnuovo. From 2011 to 2013 he worked at the National Institute of Tumors in Rome refining his competency in Head & Neck Oncology. In November of 2013 he joined the Faculty of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Insubria in Varese as an Assistant Professor and since November 2021 holds the position of Associate Professor. In 2023 Since 2023 he has become the director of thr ENT Dept at Sant’Anna Hospital in Como. He is a Member of the Anatomical Lab “Head and Neck Surgery & Forensic Dissection Research center (HNS&FDRc)” at the University of Insubria, Como, Italy. He is author of 138 papers published in international journals. H-index 37, total citation numbers 4798.
