Dr. Rodolfo Nazar is a Physician who graduated from University of Chile, and a current Otolaryngologist at the same university since 2004.
During the years of 2008 and 2009, he obtained a 'President of the Republic' scholarship to carry out a fellowship in Rhinosinusology and endoscopic skull base surgery given by the Hispano-German Society of Otorhinolaryngology.
This stay was multicenter in nature, including different centers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Dr. Nazar is an Titular Professor of Otolaryngology, and Head of the ENT Department of the University of Chile, working at the Clinical Hospital of the University of Chile, and a staff ENT at Clinica Indisa.
Currently, his area of work includes Tertiary Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery.
There are several areas to be considered when speaking about Dr. Nazar's academic developments: the implementation of the sinonasal endoscopic dissection laboratory for ENT residents, along with the Department of Anatomy of the University of Chile, the periodic establishment as of 2005, of theoretical-practical postgraduate courses in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile; and last but not least, ever since 2016 he is the Director of the Fellow Program in Rhinosinusology and Skull Base of the ENT Department of the University of Chile.
Also He is the director of the Rhinology chilean chapter.
Finally he will the presidentt of the 39th Panamerican Congress, that will take Place in Santiago the Chile fromt 11 to 14 November 2025.
