Dr Edie R. Hapner is the George W. Barber Foundation Endowed Professor of Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. She is the Co-Director of the UAB Voice Center and the Director of Hearing and Speech in the Department of Otolaryngology. She received the prestigious ALA Award in 2022 and is a Fellow of the American Speech Languge and Hearing Association. Dr Hapner is the co-Editor of Voice Therapy Clinical Case Studies, Co-Developer and owner of PhoRTE Voice Therapy LLC and the developer, consultant, and instructor of the Medbridge Voice Therapy series. Dr. Hapner has served in many roles for the AAOHNS including the a clinical guidelines committee, Voice Committee, and the ABEA Education Committee.
