Nithin Adappa MD is a Professor and Vice-Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Pennsylvania. He is part of the Division of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, currently serving as the Fellowship Director and the Surgical Director of the AERD Center.
Dr. Adappa has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers and is the editor of the “Atlas of Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery.” His active research includes the development of topical therapeutics for chronic rhinosinusitis as well as outcomes and translational research in sinonasal and anterior skull base tumors. He was recognized by America's Top Doctors for 2017 and recognized in Philadelphia magazine's annual Top Docs issues, 2018 - 2024.
