Quinn Alexander Dunlap, MD, is a head and neck surgical oncologist and microvascular reconstructive surgeon as well as an Assistant Professor within the Division of Surgical Oncology and Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky. Within this role he evaluates and manages patient presenting with benign and malignant tumors and disease processes of the head and neck, and offers surgical treatment of these conditions including complex ablations, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), microvascular reconstruction, and thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Prior to his position at the University of Kentucky (11/2023) he worked at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC) as a head and neck surgical oncologist. Within this role he worked to build an ENT Oncology program within UTMC offering comprehensive and evidence-based surgical management for head and neck cancer patients which had not previously existed within the East Tennessee region, thus providing increased access to specialized care for these patients. He completed his undergraduate degree (B.S. Biomedical Engineering) at the Univeresity of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) and his medical degree (M.D.) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical School (UABSOM). He completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is happily married and has two children (both boys, age 3 & 1YO).
