Dr. Chen-Chi Wang graduated from the School of Medicine at National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University in Taipei, Taiwan in 1994. He completed his residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) in Taichung, Taiwan in 2000. After becoming an attending physician at TCVGH, he went to the Tokyo Voice Center in Tokyo, Japan in 2002, where he studied phono-surgery under Prof. Hiroyuki Fukuda for two months.From 2003 to 2004, he furthered his studies in Head & Neck Oncology under Prof. Eugene N. Myers at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, for a duration of one year. In 2004, he also studied phono-surgery with Prof. Steve Zeitels for one month. Upon returning to Taiwan, he was promoted to the head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery in 2017 and took charge of the International Medical Service Center (IMSC) in February 2022. Additionally, he is a professor at the Medical School of National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University in Taipei and the Department of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine at the College of Medicine, National Chung Hsing University in Taichung.Dr. Wang is actively involved in academic activities. He served as the Secretary General of the Asia-Oceania Association of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Societies from 2015 to 2019 and has been an executive board member since 2019. He currently holds various positions, including President of the Taiwan Voice Society and board member of the Eastern Asia Association of Phono-surgeons, Taiwan Head & Neck Society, Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery, and International Guild of Robotic & Endoscopic Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Wang's research interests lie in laryngopharyngeal reflux disorders, Laryngology, and Robotic Head Neck Surgery. He has published several innovative articles, including a chapter "EMG Guided Injection Laryngoplasy" in the textbook "Vocal Fold Injection"
