Jad Zeitouni, BBA, is a third-year medical student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Jad is currently an editor for the student-run Otolaryngology website The Auricle. He is currently on a research year at Mass Eye and Ear. Outside of his interest in Otolaryngology, Jad is deeply interested in health disparities, global health, and health policy. He serves on the Committee for Global and Public Health for the AMA Medical Student Section. He also serves on the Student Advisory Board for the international non-profit Physicians for Human Rights. Finally, he serves as the co-founder and co-director of the TTU System Health Policy and Public Health Think Tank, which consists of both faculty and students from across the Texas Tech University System and encompasses several universities. He plans to incorporate these interests into a career in Otolaryngology.
