Vivian F. Kaul, MD, is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery of UT Health Science Center in Houston. She directs the department's Otology & Neurotology Division. She has extensive training in otologic and complex ear pathology including neurotologic skull base surgeries for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include care of acoustic neuromas/vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, jugular foramen masses, facial schwannomas, epidermoids, cholesteatomas, otosclerosis/stapes surgery, cochlear implants and numerous other conditions affecting the ear.
Dr. Kaul graduated from the College of William and Mary, with a Neuroscience Bachelors of Science degree. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern. She matched the prestigious Mount Sinai Health System for Otolaryngology residency where she chose to pursue Otology & Neurotology. She completed her fellowship at The Ohio State University and then returned back to Houston to serve as the Director of Otology & Neurotology for UT Health Houston.
