Dr. Mallen is the newest partner of Premier ENT, a private practice group in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area which is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mallen graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior, where he was also a member of the varsity ski team. He was a member of the first ever graduating class at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship, and residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at The University of Connecticut Health System. He finished his training at Emory University in Atlanta, completing fellowship training in rhinology and skull base surgery with some of the leading surgeons in the country.
Dr. Mallen has been published as an author in preeminent ENT journals and is regularly invited to present his work and research at the local, regional, and national levels. Dr. Mallen has a subspecialty focus in the medical and surgical treatment of paranasal sinus disease, skull base pathology, and rhinoplasty, as well as in general otolaryngology. He has a particular clinical and research interest in SCUBA medicine.
