Dr. Noordzij received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1990. He then completed his surgical internship at Tufts Medical Center in 1995 and his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck residency at the University of Virginia in 2000. After practicing otolaryngology for 5 years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Noordzij completed a fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at Vanderbilt University in June 2006. He joined the Boston University School of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Noordzij’s clinical interests include providing state-of-the-art medical and surgical management of disorders that affect the laryngopharynx, thyroid and parathyroid gland. Dr. Noordzij currently is Professor and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs at the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center.
