Michael S. Harris, MD is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and Neurosurgery at Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Harris is chief of the Division of Neurotology, Otology, and Skull Base Surgery and medical director of the Koss Cochlear Implant Program. He completed his residency training and a research fellowship focused on pediatric cochlear implant outcomes at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2015 and his Neurotology fellowship at The Ohio State University in 2017. Dr. Harris' clinical practice is divided between otology -- caring for adult patients with ear and hearing disorders, and neurotology -- managing lateral skull base pathology. Dr. Harris’ research focuses on functional outcomes of patients with hearing loss using cochlear implants, in particular nonspeech environmental sound perception.
