Dr. Capo is an advocate for office-based sinus and nasal approaches as they eliminate the risk of general anesthesia, have less bleeding, faster recovery, and reduced health care costs. Dr. Capo performs approximately 400 office-based nasal and sinus cases yearly under local anesthesia including septoplasty, FESS with neuronavigation, inferior turbinate reduction, balloon sinuplasty, ablation of the posterior nasal nerve, and nasal valve augmentation. He is well versed in office-based techniques including numbing protocols, patient education and communication both prior to and during procedures, and practice building. His practice includes multiple procedure rooms, in-office CT, and neuronavigation. Dr. Capo has a passion for office-based rhinology and has hosted many fellow attending-level Otolaryngologists, residents, and medical students in his office to observe cases and learn his techniques. Dr. Capo's practice is located on Long Island, NY - 15 miles from New York City. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary/ Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY.
