Matthew Crowson, MD, MPA, MASc, MBI, is a clinician-data scientist serving on the Harvard Medical School and Mass Eye & Ear Hospital faculty. His work focuses on the intersection of healthcare and data science, particularly in applying machine learning and other analytical techniques for diagnostic and prognostic solutions. Supported by industry partners such as Google, Oracle, and several medical device companies, Dr. Crowson's research aims to explore the potential of algorithms to enhance disease detection and optimize precision treatment outcomes. In addition to his research, Dr. Crowson has a keen interest in the strategic application of AI for healthcare delivery improvement and value. He believes in the potential of AI to enhance healthcare outcomes, streamline processes, and improve patient outcomes.
