Dr. Elina Jerschow is a Professor of Medicine and Immunology, Senior Associate Consultant, and the Chair of the Division of Allergic Diseases at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
She completed her medical studies at Vienna University Medical School in Vienna, Austria. She completed a research fellowship in skin immunology at the University of California San Francisco, then Internal Medicine residency training and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. She practiced at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY for over a decade before moving to Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN in 2022.
Dr. Jerschow’s clinical practice and research focus is on nasal polyps, asthma, and on NSAID-exacerbated respiratory disease (N-ERD). Dr. Jerschow is interested in the mechanism of N-ERD and the pathways, by which aspirin treatment benefits patients suffering from N-ERD.
