Luis Lassaletta MD is Head Section of the Department of Otolaryngology at La Paz University Hospital where he is responsible for the areas of Otology and Otoneurosurgery. He is also Professor of Otolaryngology at the Department of Surgery of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Among his main areas of interest are hearing loss and auditory implants, facial paralysis and skull base tumors. He is a member of the Hearring International Network of Experts in Hearing Implants (Hearring.com), Director of the IdiPAZ group “Research in Otoneurosurgery," and a member of the CIBERER. He has published more than 180 papers in national and international journals. He has been invited to more than 170 national and international meetings mostly related to hearing loss and auditory implants, and presented more than 250 papers presented in scientific meetings.
Since 2018, he is the President of the Otology Board, Spanish Society of Otorhinolaryngology.
