Cecille G. Sulman MD is a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences. She is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer at Children's Wisconsin. She has a special interest in managing difficult airway and breathing problems, sleep disorders, sinus disease, and children with congenital anomalies, as well as managing general pediatric ear, nose, and throat problems.
Dr. Sulman is interested in quality projects that help improve ear, nose, and throat care of children, from simple to complex solutions. She developed the pediatric otolaryngology fellowship program, and is committed to training the future leaders in the field. Dr. Sulman is a strong advocate for patients and families, and works with the child's pediatrician and parents to provide the best and most informed care possible.
Her clinical interests include airway evaluation, sleep surgery, Down Syndrome and children with special needs, head and neck anomalies, pediatric otolaryngology, otitis media, medical and surgical management of sinusitis, and airway reconstruction.
She has Board Certifications from the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Board of Sleep Medicine, and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Philosophy from Miami University in Oxford, OH, 1993, her Doctor of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, 1999, her residency in otolaryngology at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, OH, 2000-2004, and her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology, at Children's Memorial Hospital Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, 2004-2005.
