Resident Physician
Detroit Medical Center
Detroit, MI, United States
For my undergraduate training, I attended Columbia College, Columbia University, where I earned a degree in Biochemistry. I then attended the Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York, where I completed a combined MD/PhD Program. My research focused on leveraging combining bioinformatics with molecular biology and genetics approaches to uncover key oncogenic-driven transcriptional networks in cancer with the goal of exploiting this knowledge to identify new therapy targets. I have since continued my research, resulting in a number of publications.
Currently, I am a Chief Resident at the Detroit Medical Center Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Program, where I trained at both the Karmano Cancer Center and, as part of an exchange program, the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. My longtime goal has been to become a head and neck surgical oncologist. I will be completing a AHNS Head and Neck Fellowship at Penn State University next year.
