Dr. Adrien Eshraghi is a Surgeon-Scientist, Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has published over 180 scientific papers, mainly focused on cochlear implant surgery and various hearing disorders. He serves as Co-Director of the University of Miami Ear Institute, has a busy clinical practice, and is conducting clinical trials in patients with hearing disorders. Dr. Eshraghi is also directing the University of Miami Hearing Research Laboratory and is investigating developing and testing novel otoprotective therapies. He is an active member of multiple scientific societies including AAO-HNS, ANS, AOS, Triological, ARO, collegium ORL and is the past president of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology. Dr. Eshraghi serves on the Editor Board of multiple scientific journals, is the recipient of many research grants, and is enthusiastically involved in mentoring national and international scholars both in his clinics and translational laboratory.
