ANTHONY TOLISANO, MD is the Associate Program Dorector for the National Capital Consortium Otolaryngology Residency Program and an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a neurotologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and his research interests include cochlear implantation and hearing rehabilitation, telehealth, and the intersection of quality of life metrics and health literacy. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed an otolaryngology residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. His neurotology fellowship was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army and received his commision from the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) at Boston College. Dr. Tolisano has over 85 peer-reviewed publications.
