Dr. Saurav Sarkar is a distinguished ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon, renowned for his extensive contributions to medical practice and education globally. Currently serving as a Consultant in the NHS (National Health Service) in Huddersfield, England since July 2023, Dr. Sarkar brings over a decade of expertise to his role, specializing in complex ENT and head and neck surgeries.
After completing his postgraduation, he served as a Senior Resident at NRS Medical College, gaining foundational experience in clinical and surgical interventions. He continued to excel as a Lecturer and Clinical Tutor at Medical College Kolkata, teaching and mentoring medical students from February 2010 to August 2010.
Dr. Sarkar's pursuit of excellence led him to Stanford University on a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship from August 2010 to June 2011, where he conducted groundbreaking research in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery. His academic endeavors continued as a Lecturer at Calcutta Medical College further shaping the future generation of ENT specialists.
In December 2014, Dr. Sarkar joined the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor, subsequently advancing to Associate Professor. His tenure at AIIMS spanned nearly a decade, during which he also served as an Additional Professor from July 2022, contributing significantly to ENT education and patient care.
