Chandler H. Moser, PhD, BSN, RN, CNOR, is an active duty Army Nurse Scientist at the Center for Nursing Science and Clinical Inquiry at Madigan Army Medical Center, Washington. His recent doctoral research focuses on identifying predictors of tracheostomy-related pressure injury during COVID-19 in a large, globally diverse sample. His concurrent research efforts aimed to improve the quality of inpatient tracheostomy care and improve outcomes for these critically ill patients. Dr. Moser’s previous clinical experience was as the lead operating room nurse of the otolaryngology service. He is familiar with a diverse range of surgical procedures and operating room workflow. His research interests center on improving the quality of surgical care and postoperative outcomes in military environments. Dr. Moser has a PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University.
