I am Alejandro R. Marrero-Gonzalez, BS, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. My passion for otolaryngology, particularly head and neck cancer (HNC), has driven my research efforts and clinical interests, which led me to pursue a clinical research fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. As I apply for an ENT residency this year, I am eager to continue my work in HNC, aiming to advance research and improve patient outcomes.
