Shannon Wnek, Au.D., F-AAA, is an infant and pediatric audiologist with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program. She has been with the Utah EHDI program for 14 years, and serves as the EHDI Audiology and Compliance Coordinator. In this role she works with Utah birth facilities, hearing screeners, audiologists, midwives, early intervention programs, local health departments and other stakeholders to ensure EHDI best practices are utilized. In a unique clinical role, she is one of the few audiologists in the country providing infant diagnostic audiology assessment via telehealth to families in rural and frontier communities.
