Lauren Sterlin is a medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University in her 3rd year. Her interest in Otolaryngology stemmed from her work in vestibular therapy after she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She continued on to medical school and began working with Dr. Daniel Coelho on various projects. With assistance from Dr. Coelho, she designed and implemented this project to assess surgical techniques to implant olfactory stimulation in the treatment of anosmia. They will be continuing their research in skull base surgery as she continues medical school.
