Jeffrey Carron, MD is a Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is a 1995 graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. Following an otolaryngology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, he completed his Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at Seattle Children's hospital in 2002. Dr. Carron went on to establish the first cochlear implant and bone conduction implant program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific publications. He has also served on the AAOHNSF Pediatric Otolaryngology Committee and is a past President of the Mississippi Society for Otolaryngology. He serves as a reviewer or on the editorial boards for multiple journals and was voted UMMC Otolaryngology Faculty Teacher of the Year in 2019. He is also member of ASPO, AAP, and the American College of Surgeons.
