Born to blues hall of fame artist Jimmy D. Lane and Grandson of Chicago Blues legend, Jimmy Rogers, Dr. Sebastian Lane is a first generation physician who is currently a 4th year General Surgery Resident at Creighton Univeristy. Dr. Lane has spent his career balancing his passion for medicine with his journey as a touring and actively recording Blues/Rock artist. Dr. Lane was born in Chicago Illinois where he discovered his interest in medicine after his Grandfather passed away from colon cancer when Lane was 5 years old. Dr. Lane recieved his Bachelor of Arts degree at Hastings College, majoring in biology which is what initially brought him to the state of Nebraska. From there he attended the University of Nebraska for medical school and has continued his path into General Surgery at Creighton Univeristy in Omaha. Throughout his training at Creighton, he has developed a particular interest in Head & Neck Surgery and Craniofacial Plastic Surgery.
