PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Botulinum toxin has been used successfully for decades to treat voice disorders such as adductor/abductor laryngeal dystonia, and more recently essential voice tremor. This session will delve into a systematic approach to diagnosis, technical execution, and thoughtful analysis of response to treatment with the goal of consistent outcomes. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of the art of using botulinum toxin injections for voice disorders.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain fundamentals of botulinum toxin.
  2. Review clinical indications, methods, dosing, and logistics of using botulinum toxin to treat different voice disorders.
  3. Demonstrate pearls and pitfalls of performing botulinum toxin injections.
