Mohammed A. Gomaa is Professor of Otorhinolaryngology, faculty of Medicine at Minia University in Egypt. He graduated from Minia University in 1990, spent his residency at Minia University Hospital, and spent all of his career at Minia University until he earned the position of Full professor in 2014. He spent a couple of years as a research fellow at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1996 to 1998 working on head and neck cancer. He has been a member of the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery since 1999, and he served on the Diversity committee, International committee, Membership committee, and Humanitarian committee. He published more than 25 articles and another 10 now under publication, many of them at international journals with impact factors. His h-index is 10 and has his papers cited in more than 330 articles so far. He presents a lot of his work at highly ranked international conferences in the USA, Europe, Dubai, and of course Egypt. He is a consultant, research leader, and international scholar in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
