Prasanth Pattisapu, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Pattisapu graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a BA in the Plan II Honors program. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for both his medical school and otolaryngology residency. During medical school, Dr. Pattisapu completed his MPH through the UTHealth School of Public Health in Houston. He was awarded both degrees in 2014. After residency, he attended the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital for pediatric otolaryngology fellowship.
Joining the pediatric otolaryngology faculty at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in August 2020, Dr. Pattisapu’s clinical interests include pediatric dysphagia, chronic tracheostomy, and sleep disorders.
In addition to the Otolaryngology department, he is a principal investigator in the Center for Surgical Outcomes Research in the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His research focuses on patient-centered outcomes research, including cost-effectiveness and patient preferences in ear, nose, and throat disorders. He is a recipient of the 2022 ASPO Career Development Award through the AAO-HNSF Core Grants Program.
