Mr. Fleishhacker is a 4th year medical student at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Prior to matriculation in to medical school, he recieved his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from Colorado State University. He is planning to apply for Residency in Otolaryngology in the upcoming 2022-2023 cycle. His research interests include a quality improvement project adressing the response to the pediatric emergency airway, outcomes of pediatric endoscopic tympanoplasty, and the use of MRI to evaluate perforating vessels prior to free flap reconstruction as well as previous publications on the topics of burn wound recovery and POC labarotory device errors.
