Dr. Woodard is an Associate Professor and Division Chief of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery for the Department of Duke Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University Medical Center. He also serves as the Otolaryngology Residency Program Director and Chair of Accreditation for Duke Graduate Medical Education. He has been a faculty member at Duke since completing his fellowship at Stanford 12 years ago. His clinical interests include aesthetic and functional reconstruction of the face. His research has focused on value-based healthcare in surgical specialties, interdisciplinary facial plastic surgery education, opportunity costs of craniofacial trauma care, computational fluid dynamics evaluation of the nasal airway, and optical spectroscopy evaluation of cutaneous malignancies.
