William Nicholas Doyle Jr. B.S. ("Nick") is a fourth year medical student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine currently applying for otolaryngology residency. At this year's annual meeting he will be presenting research performed with the support of Drs. Matthew Mifsud and Christopher Nickel in USF's Division of Head & Neck Oncology/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery: an oral presentation titled "Outcomes of Large Salivary Stone Interventions in a Tertiary Head and Neck Center" and a poster titled "Enhanced Recovery After Surgery for Transoral Robotic Surgery: A Systematic Review and Evidence-Based Proposal". William's other research interests include maxillary reconstruction, endoscopic sinus surgery for the immunocompromised, and robotic-assisted cochlear implantation.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, William graduated from the University of South Carolina before enrolling at USF MCOM. As a part of USF's SELECT Program, a track focusing on leadership building and emotional intelligence, William returned to PA for his third year of medical school to complete his clinical rotations with the Lehigh Valley Health Network. William looks forward to attending academy meetings in the future as a resident physician and practicing otolaryngologist!
