Éolie Delisle, MD, (she/her) is a PGY-1 resident in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Montreal, where she also completed her medical school. Her diverse interests include otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, as well as facial plastic and trauma surgery, with active contributions to numerous research projects presented at various national and international conferences. Éolie is also involved in public education initiatives, particularly in pediatric otolaryngology and facial reconstructive plastic surgery, aimed at enhancing the understanding of pathologies, available treatments, and associated complications for patients and their families.
During her medical school training, Éolie took on several roles within her institution's medical student association (AEEMUM) and the Quebec Medical Student Federation (FMEQ). She initially served as the Pedagogical Affairs Representative (2022) and was promoted to Vice-President the following year (2023) of this organization, which represents over 4,000 learners across Quebec at key provincial and national decision-making tables. Throughout her tenure with FMEQ, Éolie established significant partnerships with provincial, national, and learner organizations, focusing on advancing medical student advocacy through collaborative and supportive efforts. She also served as the President of the Association of Women Surgeons (AWS) Chapter at the University of Montreal (2023), where she was dedicated to fostering mentorship and a sense of sisterhood among women in surgery. As the current Resident Lead, she continues to champion these values, supporting the professional growth and collaboration of her peers.
Éolie’s decade of leadership experience and steadfast community involvement has been recognized with numerous honours and scholarships, including the Lieutenant Governor's Medal for Youth in 2023. As she advances in her journey as a resident, she remains a dedicated leader and advocate, currently representing her resident cohort of Surgical Foundation at the University of Montreal on the program competency committee.
