Trisha Shang, BA is a current fourth year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. In the field of otolaryngology, Trisha has worked on projects related to chronic rhinosinusitis, head and neck cancer, and facial reanimation techniques. Prior to attending medical school, Trisha graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology and a minor in Toxicology. She was previously involved in research in neuroscience, obstetrics/ gynecology, and diabetes, and has published 22 papers and a chapter in the book "Diabetes Digital Health and Telehealth". In her free time, Trisha enjoys singing, playing the violin, and playing piano. She founded a student organization at Case Western Reserve University called Physician Musicians, inviting students to perform music at local hospitals and building the music community at the School of Medicine.
