Dr. Kim is currently a Professor and chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, and a director of “The Airway Mucus Institute” and “Human Microbiome Center” at Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He has been a postdoctoral fellow of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA from 2002 to 2003 and a research associate of The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California, USA from 2006 to 2008. He is a clinician and researcher and interested in facial plastic surgery, allergy, skull base surgery, innate immune response of upper airway, and airway microbiome research.
