Hyo-Jeong Lee is a Professor/Chairperson of Otolaryngology and Director of the Laboratory of Brain & Cognitive Sciences for Convergence Medicine at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital. Her research interest covers all clinical aspects regarding audiovestibular disorders and brain plasticity following audio-vestibular sensory loss/recovery. Her previous works have revealed the clinical relevance of cross-modal plasticity in deaf CI users and the brain-behavior relationship in patients with single-sided deafness. Her team is developing testing/rehabilitative tools based on VR/Web technology, targeting central auditory function. She serves for the Korean Otological Society, the Korean Audiological Society, the Korean Balance Society, and the Korean Society for Human Brain Mapping, the OHBM Korea Chapter.
