Resident
Baylor College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology
Manvel, TX, United States
My name is Taylor Leavitt, MD, and I am a 3rd year resident at Baylor College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology. I grew up in a small rural town called Melba, Idaho, which is about 45 minutes southwest of Boise. I am the second of 5 chidren to two incredible parents. As an Idahoan, I love white water rafting, hiking, skiing, and four-wheeling. After high school, I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where I obtained a degree in Exercise Science. During my time at BYU I took a two year break from school to serve a two-year religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the country of Turkey, which I love. Before graduating from BYU I was also married to the love of my life and she graciously followed me to medical school at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. I was fortunate enough to match into ENT at Baylor College of Medicine and my wife, 3 kids and myself now reside in Houston.
