Jeffrey Teixeira, M.D., MBA, is a passionate, creative and solutions oriented facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who practices all aspects of the field with a specific interest in rhinoplasty, facial trauma reconstruction, transgender care and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY in 2009. Upon graduation, he commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army and completed his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences in 2013. He went on to complete internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Teixeira completed a fellowship in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He holds a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare and Strategic Leadership from the University of Delaware.
Dr. Teixeira is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has published in leading international medical journals including The Journal of Craniofacial Medicine, Laryngoscope, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine and Military Medicine. His scientific research has also been presented at national meetings with a specific focus on rhinoplasty research. He has published podcasts on laser resurfacing and minimally invasive treatments. He is a published author on Principles of Facial Reconstruction- A subunit approach to Cutaneous Repair, 3rd edition.
He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Alpha Omega Alpha and Association of Military Surgeons of the United States.
