James Warren is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He attended Mississippi State University, where in 2021 he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. His research interests include surgical outcomes of head and neck cancer patients, including associations between post-operative TSH testing and adverse outcomes, the impact of delayed adjuvant chemotherapy on oncologic outcomes, and analyzing factors contributing to hospital readmission following major head and neck surgery. He has a particular interest in socioeconomic factors and their role in health disparities.
