Ralph Metson, M.D. is a third generation otolaryngologist who practices at Massachusetts Eye & Ear in Boston. After completing his residency at UCLA, he pursued a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he now serves as Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His research activities include techniques for minimally-invasive surgery of the sinuses and orbit, the measurement of clinical outcomes of sinonasal surgery, and the genetic underpinnings of chronic rhinosinusitis. Dr. Metson is Director of the Rhinology Fellowship Program at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. His book “The Harvard Medical School Guide to Healing Your Sinuses” was published by McGraw-Hill. He is the Immediate Past President of the Triological Society.
