Simon Angeli MD is Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Director of the University of Miami Ear Institute. He has over 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of inner ear dizziness, pediatrics and adult hearing loss, ear infections, skull base surgery, and acoustic neuroma surgery. He has contributed with more than 100 peer-reviewed publications with studies of Meniere’s disease, phenotype-genotype characterization of hereditary hearing loss and age-related hearing loss, cochlear implantation, and studies of middle ear wound healing using biomaterials and stem cells. Dr. Angeli practices and teaches at the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
